Richard Roberts and the Oral Roberts Ministries team of Doctors and Nurses share on the second day of the Healing Rally in Kenya, 2010. Several of the doctors and nurses speak, as well as a woman who was completely healed of HIV AIDS by God.

In 2010, Oral Roberts Ministries sent a team of doctors, nurses, and volunteers to Kenya to help feed the hungry and give medical help to those who needed it. God used them to help and bring His healing power to Africa. With the team was Richard Roberts, Jordan Roberts, and Adrian Compton.

oday was our final day in Kenya. A Member of Parliament invited me to speak at her church this morning. Then we held the final night of the crusade. It was a powerful time spent in God’s presence. The crowd stretched from one side of Uhuru Park to the other, and I saw faces upon faces of Kenyans as far as the eye could see. It was estimated that there were at least 200,000 people there. [...]

Today was the fourth and final medical clinic. The team visited Kibera, the largest slum in Africa, home to over a million people. The smell of burning trash fills the air, and so do the dust and dirt. The men walk several miles to Nairobi’s industrial district, hoping to get a “kiberua”—a temporary job for a day. The women take their babies into the streets as they try to sell bread or other inexpensive items. [...]

It’s Friday night here in Nairobi, and I’m so thrilled by all that God has done here so far. I believe that Kenya is the prize of Africa…a special nation for which God has great plans. This is Kenya’s hour! It’s a time for new beginnings, increase, miracles, signs, and wonders. [...]

Arrived today in Managua. The flight went smoothly, no hitches, and everyone got their luggage. (Praise God!) Flew over Lake Managua and several mountains, including a volcano or two. A beautiful sight!

“This was a trip to remember!” That’s how Richard Roberts described his 2008 ministry visit to El Salvador. The trip began with an invitation from Elias Antonio Saca, president of El Salvador.

I’m expecting blind eyes to open, deaf ears to open, the lame to walk. I’m expecting the miracle power of God to show itself forth during this Healing Rally.”
Those were the first words out of Richard Roberts’ mouth as he spoke at a news conference upon his arrival in Ibadan, Nigeria.

In January 2007, I traveled to the West African nation of Niger for the first Miracle Healing Rally ever allowed in that country. Through that trip, I believe the Oral Roberts Ministries and our Partner family took a giant step in fulfilling God’s command to us to take the power of the Gospel to the “uttermost bounds of the earth.” If ever there was a nation where God’s light is seen dim and His power is not known, it’s Niger. -Richard Roberts

When God spoke to Richard Roberts and said, “Go to the Ivory Coast in West Africa and I will pour out My blessings,” Richard obeyed. And God kept His promise!
Richard received a special invitation from 1,000 pastors and the Ivory Coast’s President Gbagbo to bring the message of healing and prosperity to the recently war-torn nation.

We’ve come to Kumasi, Ghana, for five days and a single purpose: to bless the people!
Kumasi is the second largest city in the West African nation of Ghana and home to its largest tribe, the Ashanti. I’m here as part of a 27-member team accompanying Richard Roberts on invitation from the King of the Ashanti tribe and the President of Ghana.
